Why does the Christmas season turn into a marathon of activities? Get-togethers, extra church services, basketball practices and games, cookie exchanges. The list is endless. They demand our presence. Daily life demands our time. I have to get a tree. Don’t forget any of the presents you need to buy. It is tiring. You are already feeling worn out. Where is the peace all these Christmas cards talk about? Do you need some time to recharge your battery? Join us this Sunday to rest in the peace that the Savior provides. His peace lasts forever.

Tired Of Waiting

Are you already tired of waiting for Christmas to get here? It seems the Christmas season is now months long. QVC started in July with Christmas sales. Months of Christmas music has been playing on radio stations. Black Friday has come and gone. Expectations for an extra-special celebration are set high. We hope to have a good Christmas this year. Not like last year or the years before. Yet we are already tired of waiting for Christmas to be here. What can we do to make this one different, better than others?
