Identity

The trunk is the very center of a tree. A strong trunk keeps the tree standing strong and keeps the branches and leaves healthy. What is at the center of a Christian? Identity. Who we are in Christ is the center of our life and affects every part of the way we live. In a world having an identity crisis, God gives us an identity, and it will be the only thing that matters in the end.

If someone asked you what it means to be a part of the Christian church, how would you answer? "A Church on the R.I.S.E." talks about God’s goals for us as Christians and as a Christian church. We are ROOTED in God's Word. We have IDENTITY in Christ. We want to SERVE God and others. We will ENGAGE with the community.
